Size
The Caspian Whip Snake Is the largest snake in Europe, and can grow up to 2 meters long. Males are larger than females, and usually have much bigger heads.
Venom
It is a non-venomous specie but is the fastest and most aggressive snake in Europe, I have been bitten more than once by these extraordinarily beautiful snakes and trust me it hurts!
Habitat
They can be found at Semi-desert areas, fields, farms, grasslands, rocky areas, scrub lands, forests and gardens. They are also extremely good tree climbers and will often be sun basking on top of trees. I often see them near the Black sea in Bulgaria. In general they can be found almost every where around the country.
Diet
They mainly feed on small vertebrates such as: Lizards, birds, small mammals and other snakes.
Breeding
They breed at the end of May, the female will normally lay around 6 to 12 eggs at the end of june.
